Registry User Resource Centre

Training Modules and Job Aids

A New Initiative Has Been Launched To Enhance The Registry Training System.

Phase 1 - Name and Paradigm Change - we want to move away from the idea of "training" current users, as they already know how to use the Registry.  We want to create a single location where new users can learn how to use existing Registry functionality... and all users can upgrade or refresh their skills for optimal use of the Registry.  A couple of years ago we changed the name from the Performance Support System to the Registry Training System.  Reflecting on this new direction of a single location of resources available to all users, we have updated the name to the Registry User Resource Centre.

Phase 2 - Evergreen Commitment - there is a commitment by the Training Team to ensure that all new functionality/changes to the Registry will be updated to the training modules and online help within 60 days of implementation to the Registry.

Phase 3 - Training Module Review - we are reviewing and updating all existing training modules to ensure that they reflect current Registry functionality.  This phase also includes updating all "dated" materials in the modules related to production months, etc. and splitting larger modules into more focused topics.

Phase 4 - Online Help - we will be reviewing and updating all online help pages to ensure they reflect current Registry functionality.

Phase 5 - Module Realignment - the organization of the existing training modules will be changed to make it easier to find material required.  This layout will have modules sorted into groups that reflect the Registry Menu (ie: Volumetrics, Allocations, Pipeline Splits, Reports, Queries, Allowable Costs, etc).

Phase 6 - User Focus Topics - a new grouping of documents called "User Focus Topics" will be established in the User Resource Centre. This body of knowledge will include information from Tips and Alerts, "Did you know" information from Q&A presentations, and other communication formats.

Watch for more information and updates to this webpage as we move through these phases.
