Reporting Crown Oil Inventory This tip is to inform operators who produce crown royalty volume and do not deliver it in the same month, that ther is new Registry functionality to report Crown Oil held in inventory.  Effective February 7, 2008 there are two new functions in the Registry - Edit Crown Oil Inventory and Query Crown Oil Inventory.

Reducing the Risk of Receiving DOE Oil Penalties This document outlines how oil well/battery operators can avoid penaltie by improving compliance with respect to conventional oil delivery and reporting in accordance with Alberta Energy's applicable Petroleum Royalty Regulations.  This tip provides a link to the new DOE IL 2008-15 explaining changes to the appeal process in circumstances where the royalty attributes (vintage and royalty programs) have changed.
